The Wharton Club of Central America, the Caribbean and Venezuela was formed to expand The Wharton Way accross our region, and to bring together graduates from all degree programs of the University of Pennsylvania.

Dear Fellow Penn & Wharton Alumni,
Welcome to the Wharton Club of Central America, Caribbean and Venezuela (WCCV)! It is with deep gratitude and genuine excitement that I serve as your incoming President.
First and foremost, I want to recognize the remarkable foundation that our Co-Founders and Co-Presidents, Mayra Kam (W’88, G’94, WG’94) and Gisselle Rohmer (WG’09), along with our entire 2023–2026 Board of Directors and Country Ambassadors, have built over the past three years. What began as a vision to connect Penn and Wharton alumni across our diverse and dynamic region has grown into a thriving community of 165+ members spanning more than 20 countries. That is no small feat, and we owe them an enormous debt of gratitude.
I also want to express my personal thanks to each of you, our members, for being the heart of this Club. Your engagement, your enthusiasm and your belief in what we are building together is what makes WCCV truly special.
As I step into this role, I do so with a clear sense of purpose: to build on what has been accomplished while bringing fresh energy and new opportunities to our community. Here are some of the initiatives that you can look forward to in the coming term:
· ExperiencePLUS Internships: Now in its 4th year, our flagship internship program continues to open doors for Penn and Wharton students and alumni families across the region. We are committed to growing the program and deepening the partnerships that make it possible.
· Networking & Community Events: We will continue to host in-person and virtual gatherings that bring our members together across borders, fostering the kind of meaningful connections that only a community like ours can offer.
· Lifelong Learning: We believe in the power of continuous education. Expect new opportunities to engage with Wharton's world-class content, study groups and professional development initiatives tailored to our region.
· Membership Growth: We want every Penn and Wharton alumnus with ties to our region to feel at home in WCCV. If you know someone who should be part of our community, invite them to join at https://mailchi.mp/4d2d29b2462b/whartonregionalccv.
This Club is yours. It exists to serve you to help you grow professionally, connect meaningfully and stay close to the institution that brought us all together. I look forward to meeting many of you at our upcoming events and to hearing your ideas for how we can make WCCV even better.
Please don't hesitate to reach out at any time. My door and our inbox is always open.
