Let’s connect to our regional community of Penn & Wharton Alumni

The Wharton Club of Central America, the Caribbean and Venezuela was formed to expand The Wharton Way accross our region, and to bring together graduates from all degree programs of the University of Pennsylvania.

From the Presidents

Greetings!

As founding Co-Presidents, along with our experienced leadership team, we are excited to bring to life the Wharton Club of Central America, the Caribbean and Venezuela. The club is part of the global network of the Wharton School, and targets to provide regional engagement opportunity at a multinational level, to the 350+ alumni in our region.

While clubs currently exist in different countries – Dominican Republic, Panama, Costa Rica and Nicaragua to name a few – this new club aims to be the HUB that connects all Penn and Wharton Alumni with affinity to Central America, the Caribbean and Venezuela, and to provide additional support and an inclusive home for all alumni, regardless of country.

Our goal is to facilitate networking, learning and professional development opportunities for our regional community, and we aim to add value by:

  • Maximizing engagement between our members and the Wharton School

  • Developing a closely knit professional network

  • Facilitating access and connection to Wharton educational and professional events that promote continued life-long learning

  • Reinforcing the Wharton brand in the region

Engaging young alumni is of particular importance under our leadership as we hope to extend the Wharton experience and network to those recently graduating and to ensure they have active participation in the club for years to come.

We encourage anyone affiliated with the Wharton School or the University of Pennsylvania to join the club and participate in this offering by Becoming a Member. And in the spirit of Wharton LOVE, we encourage you to volunteer, provide value to our community and help us grow the club by inviting classmates from the region that may not be aware of us.

Please reach out to us with questions, comments or ideas as we all collectively work to make the Wharton Club of Central America, the Caribbean and Venezuela, a welcoming place for everyone. We look forward to the opportunity to get to know members on both a personal and professional level, as we continue to improve our club experience for all of us.

We hope to see you soon, whether in person or through video conference, and that together we can toast to a great kick-off of this Club!

Best regards,

Mayra Kam, W88 G94 WG94 & Gisselle Rohmer WG’09
